River City Saloon is located on the west side of Grand Rapids, Michigan and has had the same owners for over 10 years. In that time there has been many changes in the industry, but the one thing that hasn't changed is the core group of wonderful customers. River City Saloon has a reputation for being like the bar in the TV show "Cheers" with the best and friendliest staff around. You are only a stranger the first time you walk in the door, after that you are family. River City Saloon has a great stage for bands, an ample dance floor, incredible lighting, top of the line karaoke system and Diamond pool tables. River City attracts the best local bands in Grand Rapids that play anything from classic rock to today's top 40 hits. One of the biggest nights of the year is the night of "Rock for Tots" in December where everyone brings a toy which is donated to Toys for Tots. 5-7 local bands donate an hour each then hang out and mingle with the customers and our marines.
